Brian will be taking part in the Etape Caledonia road bike race on Sunday 17 May, and will be riding for MacMillan Cancer Support. The event is 81 miles long and has 1,900m of climbing.
As many of you will know Brian is lucky enough to be a cancer survivor, and having now put some distance between it and himself he wants to give something back to help other cancer sufferers.
In fact, Lance Armstrong had the same kind of cancer, so at least Brian can claim to have something in common with him. Just not his cycling prowess.
