Emerging Leaders Programme

Or the missing link between Management for Growth and Leadership for Growth. It has been designed to meet the development needs of your most talented people. Those who have the potential to move into leadership positions in the future. So, here’s a flavour of the programme…

Development Centre

We want this programme to be different each time we run it. Not for the sake of it, but because it needs to be. This initial 1-day session will set the agenda for the whole programme. Not just for you, but for us too. It has five outcomes:

  • Identification of a personal action plan
  • Agreement on a strategic work related project
  • Review of both 360 and psychometric feedback
  • Selection of the most appropriate coach
  • A public commitment from each participant to their business

Psychometrics

We believe that the Hogan HPI and HDS instruments are perfect for emerging talent.

HPI – The HPI raises the aspirations for personality assessment from mere description of candidates to prediction of their job performance. It is the first normal range personality questionnaire based on the five-factor model of personality.

HDS – Bosses that alienate colleagues and subordinates undermine the commitment and effectiveness of the workforce with inevitable consequences for productivity, retention and the bottom line. Based on research into management derailment, the HDS identifies 11 such patterns of dysfunctional interpersonal leadership behaviour.

Coaching

Critical to the implementation of the learning and the development of the individual during the Future Leaders Programme. Each participant will be able to personalise the coaching approach - from selection of their coach, to the timing of the coaching visits and the topics to be covered.
